TRUSTING THE PROCESS

Hey ANCHOR,

Process is about defining the controllables that can make you a better performer and maximizing your capabilities in every single one of those areas.

Committing to the right process is a critical part of success, but it it’s no magic pill. There’s no one giant step that will get you from where you are to where you want to be.

If you want a six-pack, nothing you can do today will get you a six-pack tomorrow. If you’re growing a business, there’s no single step that will get you from ten customers today to ten thousand customers tomorrow. It doesn’t work that way. The only thing that works is pounding on your craft, day in and day out, doing the right things over and over and over again.

On the CrossFit Georgina side of ANCHOR, each week we add specific weight training, gymnastic work or accessory work in addition to the WOD.

Show up 3-4-5+ times a week, and you WILL. GET. FITTER!

I’ve had the privilege to be a part of hundreds of individuals as they grow and develop their fitness through CrossFit.

Somewhere around the 12-24 month mark in an athlete's CrossFit career, they may be ready to do a little bit of extra work to personally attack their weaknesses. This is great and an expected part in the process!

While we wish we could run 3-hour long classes to address each and every goal that each and every member has, we know that that the best thing for everyone is generalized physical preparedness program that touches on mobility, strength & conditioning. Our class programming is geared towards making you as fit as possible — for life.

But, maybe you’re ready for MORE....you want to spend dedicated time on your handstands, your muscle up or your aerobic conditoning.

This is why we have amazing personal trainers ready to work with you on YOUR specific goals.

This is why we have fantastic trainers who can curate a program tailored to you.

This is why we included open gym in your CrossFit membership, free of charge!

Currently, open gym is offered Monday-Friday from 1pm-4pm. But if there’s room available, and the equipment isn't being used, the north side of the gym can be used for extra skill work before or after your class, as well.

We've attached a comprehensive manual for pull-up progressions, muscle-up progressions, aerobic capacity and pulling exercises to support and guide you when you come use open gym!
